Miner Rail Services is the source for museum quality trolley car restoration. We have completed a number of projects with better than new build quality. If it needs to be done on time, on budget and with unequaled quality, Miner Rail is the answer.

Five PCC cars were completed for the City of Kenosha, Wisconsin at the rate of one car per month. The cars were transported on Miner's special extendable lowboy rail - to - road trailer from Pennsylvania on their Toronto gauge Clark B2 trucks. These cars received new flush welded plate to repair rusted areas and complete exterior stripping. After the carbody work was complete, the cars were fitted with standard gauge Clark B3 trucks refurbished by Miner.

The cars had contactors, controllers, accelerators and other electrics cleaned, repaired and tested and were test run on the Miner Rail track. New seating was installed as was a wheelchair lift with Miner designed mountings.

All areas of corrosion were repaired properly by complete removal and new steel was welded in place. New skirts were fabricated and installed. Finish is automotive quality urethane enamel.
