#416 was a very thorough, correct cosmetic restoration completed by Miner Rail in 2003 for the East Tennessee Historical Society in Knoxville, TN. All work on the car was completed in the exact contracted time of just three months. Some said it wasn't possible.

We started with a bare, gutted carbody and restored or manufactured every item for this car including all roof top equipment that was missing as well as all underbody equipment that was missing. Virtually the entire interior was missing and all items that could not be obtained were manufactured. All interior woodwork was stripped, repaired and refinished or manufactured new. Seats are new Miner walkovers. The correct Cincinnati truck was manufactured from scratch. Roof covering is painted canvas as original. Paint is urethane in correct, researched colors.

#416 being offloaded in our yard from our truck August 5, 2003. Car was bare carbody with gutted interior, no underbody appliances, no truck.

135C Cincinnati truck fabrication. Designed from photos by Miner. No original 135C trucks are known to exist. Correct down to the "Cincinnati" lettering cast into the journal box lids.

 

Beautifully restored interior with many light fixtures, window latches, standee straps, bulkheads, walkover seats, motorman’s chair all manufactured from scratch and exact duplicates of original.

Newly manufactured 9" headlight. We have a limited number of these available.

#416 completed to exacting as built detail. Sunrise and ready to roll. Delivered to Knoxville on October 30, 2003.

Walkover seats are fully functional and made from scratch by Miner.
